1099 Tax Form Update for 2021/2022 TaxesUpdate for 2021 Profits: PayPal is responsible for issuing 1099 forms. For 2021 they will issue forms for $20,000 minimum profits through PayPal (including but not limited to profits from Pic-Time). To find your tax form, continue with Paypal here. Because of this, Pic-Time will not issue the forms automatically to avoid double income reporting for photographers. If you did not reach $20,000 total income through PayPal and did make over $600 in profits from Pic-Time Collected orders, you can apply for a 1099 form issued by Pic-Time instead.

Do my images retain any metadata?When your images are added to the gallery, the downloaded photos retain original metadata attached to each photo. How am I able to review my account storage?To review account storage and/or the storage taken up by each gallery click on Settings. Click on Storage You can review the size of each gallery and the total storage space used by your account. You can also upgrade your plan by clicking on Change Plan. Alternatively, you can permanently delete galleries.

How are images affected by image processing?Our system resizes your original hi-res photos to create low-res files for optimal viewing/loading speed and quality. We offer 3 methods of image processing (Natural, Soft, Sharp) and each one produces slightly different results. These options can be compared to Photoshop Bicubic/Bicubic Smoother/Bicubic Sharper options. Image processing affects web-size gallery preview images only, it does not affect the high-resolution images. Note: when selecting your processing method, it will not change files that have already been uploaded, only future uploads will be affected.

How can I add a custom domain?When you create your Pic-Time account, your galleries are available by default through your Pic-Time domain. How can I change my timezone?Adjust your local timezone to correspond with sales automation emails and discounts sent out to clients. To begin, click Settings from your main photographer dashboard. In the Profile tab, click the dropdown on the right hand corner to select your time zone. Your local timezone will determine when sales automation campaigns are sent to clients. How can I change the email templates for the gallery invite?After creating new email packages, customizing templates and assigning an email package to the gallery the photographer can easily toggle between different templates when sending emails to their clients. This feature will bypass the default email package assigned to the gallery. It is required to have the templates previously created and modified in order to add them to the gallery. How can I choose the grid layout for galleries?There are various grid layouts that can be chosen for each gallery. A photographer is able to set a default grid layout style in their account settings or choose a grid layout for each individual gallery. How can I create a Web App?All client galleries a fully compatible with mobile devices. You can create a Web App to be saved to your mobile device’s home screen for convenient future access. How can I customize email templates in an Email Package?Photographers are able to create new email packages and customize them for each occasion. This allows each photographer to streamline their workflow. After creating a new email package, they can proceed to editing the templates. How can I disable/enabled copies of the emails sent to the photographer?Photographers are able to receive a copy of outgoing emails sent to their clients as well email notifications concerning client galleries. How can I hide the list of liked photos from other users?By default, clients and guests can see each other’s lists of likes in the gallery. This feature becomes useful when designing items in the store as gifts for the loved ones or sharing liked images among the users. However, if galleries require more confidentiality the photographer can choose to hide the list of likes from the users in all galleries. How can I remove the Pic-Time branding from the site?By default, Pic-Time has references to the Pic-Time brand in the footer of the gallery, store and portfolio page. Our photographers can choose to remove all references to the Pic-Time brand from their Pic-Time site, including the URL and shortlinks. Update Dec 2021: For more unique and personalized shareable gallery links, your current custom Pic-Time URL will now replace the old ‘picti.net domain’ in new links to keep your branding consistant.

How can I retrieve invoices for the plan subscription?When the photographer’s credit card is charged for the plan subscription or the product/shipping cost the receipts are saved in the Billing tab of the Settings. The invoices can be easily retrieved or reviewed at any time. Please allow for a few days for the invoices to prepare once the card is charged. The invoices can be printed or saved as PDF files as needed. Downloading Invoices Click Settings from your main photographer dashboard.

How can I set my email preferences?Choose which emails from Pic-Time you’d like to receive to your account. At various points throughout the year, Pic-Time will email you regarding promotions we’re offering, education for our photography community, and updates about features and products. How can I set my self-fulfill shipping rates?When you self fulfill products in your store, you are able to set your shipping rates for each type of product. Since you are shipping the products from a lab outside of Pic-Time, you will want to set the correct shipping rates to cover the cost of shipping. You can create various shipping tiers (shipping packages that would include local and international shipping) and assign the correct shipping tier to your products.

How can I upload a browser Favicon?A browser Favicon is displayed in the browser tab window next to the page title/name. A favicon is associated with the URL and will only show up when the URL is open in the browser. When you access any galleries on Pic-Time, the Pic-Time logo will show up as favicon. You can upload your own browser favicon your account brand settings. To get started click Settings from the main dashboard.

How do I add a new Email Package?Email templates allow the photographer to save time on their workflow. Easily create custom packages for multiple occasions and save/edit email templates. How do I adjust the navigation bar?Each photographer can customize the navigation bar. How do I apply a watermark to my photos?When adjusting the watermark settings, you must set-up your general watermark settings first, then you can disable or enable the watermark in each gallery. When someone downloads high res files or orders products in the store, these are not watermarked. You can have one watermark with two different profiles. You can define the position, location and the size of the watermark for each profile. You can also choose to have a flexible watermark which can easily be turned on or off for each scene and/or user type based on your settings, or a burned watermark which is permanently embedded in the low-resolution images displayed in all galleries and cannot be modified.

How do I block the order shipped emails?When products are self-fulfilled, customize or block the Order Shipped email that the client receives once their order has shipped. Go to Settings from your main photographer dashboard. In the Email Packages tab, select the Email Package you want to edit, and checkmark the Block Email checkbox for the ‘Order self-shipped’ email. Now the client will not be automatically notified when their order has shipped.

How do I connect my Google Analytics account?Pic-Time is integrated with Google Analytics. Each Pic-Time photographer can connect their Google Analytics account to their Pic-Time account to track visitors, active users, traffic sources, visited pages, product clicks, order value etc. Google Analytics provides many tools that can help Pic-Time users track their account. Connecting Google Analytics You will want to first register for an account with Google Analytics. Once you have created an account you will need to retrieve your Tracking ID.

How do I customize a brand and add multiple brands?In the account settings, a photographer is able to customize their brand and add additional brands. How do I downgrade my plan and how will my account be affected?Downgrade from Paid Plans (Multi-Brand, Advanced or Professional) to a Free Plan When you downgrade to a free plan your new plan will start once the current plan ends. You will also lose the following benefits of a paid plan: Storage. You will be limited to 10GB only. That means that any gallery you currently have above the 10GB free plan limit will be deleted 1 week after the plan changes (oldest galleries first).

How do I Integrate Facebook Pixel or Google Tag Manager?You can connect your Facebook Pixel or Google Tag Manager to your photographer account under Settings > Brand & Style. How do I invite a photographer to Pic-Time and receive a month off?Pic-Time offers a referral system for you and your photographer friends. After you create your account, you can generate your unique referral code and provide it to your friends. For each friend who uses your code and signs up for a paid plan, you and your friend will receive a month of your subscription. Your friend can use the code when they’re upgrading to a paid plan from the trial in their settings.

How do I manage the testimonials from my galleries?Your gallery visitors can leave testimonials to your site by using the Recommend feature in the gallery. Testimonials can be displayed on your website, Facebook or other external services once integrated. You can also send your gallery visitors a testimonial request to remind them to leave a testimonial. Client View Hover over the photographer logo in the navigation bar, above the gallery and select Recommend. Alternatively, you can click Recommend at the bottom of the gallery.

How do I modify a CSV list and use it in Lightroom?When downloading a CSV list, you can add a file extension to the filename (for example .JPG, .PNG etc.). This may help with more accurate search results when searching in Lightroom or through your computer files. You can also copy the filenames without downloading the CSV document to your computer. How do I resend a gallery invitation to the photographer invited users?You can share the gallery with various photographer invited users and resend the invitation to an individual or all users. This tutorial will go over how to resend an invitation to photographer invited users. How do I send emails with my own email address instead of we@pic-time.com?When you create your Pic-Time account, the emails sent from the system will appear to the client as from your Brand name, with we@pic-time.com as the sender. If you’d like to use your own email address, you can create one by setting up an SPF record with your domain provider. Note: this requires an email from a custom domain or an email routing through a custom domain. To begin, first go to your domain provider’s Zone File Settings, DNS Manager, or similar area.

How do I set up two-factor authentication?Add extra security to your photographer account by setting up two-factor authentication for logging into Pic-Time. To get started, go to Settings from your main dashboard. Under the Profile tab, click Security. Checkmark to enable two-factor authentication. Select your preferred verification method. Verify via SMS text message, WhatsApp, or through your Pic-Time account email address. Then type in your phone number. Please note: Make sure you are using the full international format, including a plus sign (+) followed by the country code, city code, and local phone number with no dashes or spaces.

How do I unblock custom domains on Cloudflare?If your custom domain/IP address is blocked, it may be because you have added a custom domain under Cloudflare and then turned on the Proxy status after the custom domain was added. To resolve this, simply turn off your proxy status in your Cloudflare account, then click Save.

How do I upload a print release to the gallery?Pic-time offers a feature that allows the photographer to include a print release form when the client downloads images from their gallery. How should I use dynamic text in the emails templates?Dynamic text is auto populated data according to the previously saved information on your account. You can use a certain combination of characters, which are previously programmed to auto populate certain data. For example, when you use text {galleryname} it will be replaced with the Project Name (Gallery Name). This feature is helpful when designing email templates for various clients. If you create an email template using dynamic text, it will auto populate the data once the email is sent to the client.

What are the commission rates for various subscription plans?Commission Free Plans Pic-Time offers commission-free store sales for all paid plans (with the exception of Art Gallery Professional plan) when you switch to collecting payments in the store yourself. Default Commissions By default, Pic-Time collects payments in the store if you do not reconfigure your store settings. In this case, Pic-Time collects a small commission percentage, from your order profit amount only, to cover credit card fees and store maintenance.

What are the properties of a burned watermark?During the uploader process, a burned watermark is permanently embedded in the low-resolution images displayed in the gallery. In addition to displaying the watermark in the gallery, share tab and on Web-Size downloads, it is displayed in the store preview. This will guarantee that there are no unwatermarked images displayed to the clients at any point of their site experience. Galleries uploaded while the settings are set to Burn into Low-Res watermark will be the only ones affected.

How can my client reset their password?To protect the security and privacy of each user, the password is managed by the user themselves. The account password can be managed in their settings or they can reset the password using the 'Don’t Have a Password?' or 'Forgot Password?' feature at the login prompt. An email with a reset link will be sent to them. Users can manage their own account password when they’re logged into the gallery.

How do I cancel my subscription?To cancel your paid Pic-Time subscription, go to Settings from your Main Dashboard. Under Plans & Billing, click the Cancel button next to your current subscription. Click Confirm Change to approve the cancellation. You will still have the remaining days left on your current subscription before your account is reverted to a free plan.
