How can I make changes to an assigned app?
When you make changes to an app that is currently assigned to a gallery, you will need to re-assign the app in the gallery in order for the changes to apply to the gallery.
First, you want to make sure that you modify the app settings and save them. Head to Sales & Automation from your main dashboard.
Choose the app that you want to edit from your list of current apps. In this example, we are editing an Abandoned Cart app.
Click to Edit App and modify the settings you would like to change.
Make changes to your app and click Done Editing to save.
Before you re-assign your app, be sure to double-check your app’s settings so you do not send duplicate emails. For example, if you have already sent an announcement email from your app, you will want to delete it from the app settings so it does not send again once you reassign it to your gallery. Then when you go into the Sales Automation tab of the gallery and select the three-dot menu.
Choose Unassign from gallery.
Click Remove Anyway and the app will be unassigned from the gallery.
Then click Choose to select your modified app.
Choose your app from the list of apps.
Go through the setup settings (these settings vary per each individual app) and click Apply.
Your modified app is now assigned to the gallery!
