Can I hide scenes from certain User Types?If you create more than one scene in the gallery, you can hide any specific scene for a certain user type. The visitor accessing the gallery as the specific user type, will not be able to see the scene if it is hidden. Restrict Access via Photos Tab Select the Photos tab of the Project and click the 3-Dot Menu Icon under the scene name. Click Hide Scene.

Can I upload GIF files into the gallery?Pic-Time supports JPEG and GIF files as uploads to the gallery, including covers. If you allow sharing and downloading in the gallery, these settings would apply to GIF files. The files are not resized at the time of the upload, therefore the original size is available as both High-Res and Web-Size downloads. GIFs do not display in the store unless you add a custom product to the store or you sell downloads in the store.

How are photos accessible from cloud storage?Your photos are stored on a secure Microsoft based cloud storage. Within the first year that the photos are uploaded, they’re available immediately upon download. After the first year, the photos are moved to a secure, long-term Microsoft storage. These photos have delayed accessibility, therefore when you or your client tries to download photos that were uploaded more than a year ago, it will take 2-15 hours to package the photos for download.

How can I add text to the gallery scene?Adding text to each scene can be done via the Photos tab of each gallery. The text is displayed between the title of the scene and the images. Photographer is able to modify the text at any time. Adding Text Select the Photos tab in the project. Click on the text icon next to the scene name. Enter text and click Apply when finished. The text is displayed between the title of the scene and the images.

How can I add video content to the gallery?Each photographer can embed videos to the galleries. The videos are required to be uploaded through a third-party provider and the link for the video can be embedded in the gallery. Pic-Time is currently supporting Vimeo (including private Vimeo videos), YouTube, SmartSlides & Animoto. Adding Video Select the Photo tab in your gallery. You must create a new scene which will contain the video. Click Add Scene. Modify the scene name and click to add video content to the scene.

How can I assign a brand to a project?When the photographer account is configured for multiple brands, they can choose which brand the project is displayed under. Select the Name & Cover tab within a project. Click the drop down menu under Brand and select the brand you want to attach to the project.

How can I assign an email package to a gallery?After an Email Package has been created and modified, it can be assigned to the gallery. The emails existing within the package will then be applied to the gallery. Any correspondence sent out from the Pic-Time platform will be in according to its assigned email package. Assigning an Email Package Select the gallery from the main dashboard and click on the Gallery Setup tab. Select the Email Package from the drop down list.

How can I change the gallery URL?By default, the project name is the URL address for the gallery. In cases where you want to have a different address than the one automatically selected, you can change it in the Name & Cover settings of each project. Under the Name & Cover tab, select the URL under Project Address (URL). Edit the URL and click OK to confirm.

How can I change the language of the galleries?You can change the language of the galleries (client side only) by setting up a default language in your global settings or change each gallery individually. How can I choose a cover photo from the uploaded images?When it comes to choosing a cover photo for the project, there are two workflows that can be used. The photographer can upload the cover photo in the Name & Cover tab before they upload the images into the gallery. The photographer can choose the cover photo from the images in the gallery after they have been uploaded. Choosing a Cover Photo Before Upload The benefit of uploading the cover photo before uploading the rest of the images - you don’t have to wait for the upload to finish in order to select the cover photo.

How can I create and use project templates?You can create project templates in order to save your project settings and re-use them for future projects. First, you will want to create and modify your template. Then you can apply the template to all of your future projects. This guide will walk you through on how to create the templates and apply them to your projects. Click Settings from your main dashboard. How can I delete a project?Once you are not utilizing a specific project/gallery you can permanently delete it from your Pic-Time account. Projects cannot be restored once deleted. There are two ways to delete projects. Deleting Projects via the Client Galleries Tab Click Client Galleries on your main dashboard. Locate the project you would like to delete. To simplify your search, you can search for the project in the Search Bar or categorize your projects by filter by Date, Brand, Categories or Price List.

How can I display a scene of highlights in the gallery?You can collect the images from the gallery to display in a highlight scene. The images previews are copied over to a new scene called “Highlights” that can be displayed at the top of the gallery. However, only the previews of the images are copies, the photo itself doesn’t get duplicated in the gallery. So your client(s) can download their galleries without receiving any duplicates from the Highlight scene. Adding/Removing as Highlights You can start in the Photos tab of the project and marking the images that you would like to select.

How can I download photos from the photographer dashboard? (Workflow tab)To download the images from the photographer dashboard, click on the Project name, then click Workflow. Click Send/Download Photos. Select the photos you would like to download. If you wish to select all the photos, you can click on one photo and click on Select All. To select all images within a certain scene, you can click on the three-dot menu under the scene name. Once you are finished making your selection, click Download Photos.

How can I enable/disable Facebook, Email and Direct Link sharing of the gallery?Enabling Sharing Gallery visitors are able to share a gallery when correct permissions have been set by the photographer. To enable gallery sharing, click on the Gallery Setup tab. Checkmark Allow sharing (Facebook, Email…) to adjust for the desired permissions for gallery visitors. Gallery clients and guests will be able to share the gallery from their navigation bar.

How can I enlarge photos in the gallery?Enlarging a photo is often used to highlight favorites or to make a slight adjustment to the flow of the gallery. This feature is only available to the photographer and main client and can only be used for landscape (horizontal) orientation images. Hover over the image and click on the diagonal arrows in the upper right corner. The images will stay enlarged for viewers of the gallery.

How can I input a list of emails into the invite window?The photographer is able to add a list of emails to invite to the gallery. Email addresses need to be separated by a comma in order to register and save as an individual unit in the system. This feature can be used for a small-large list of emails. How can I search the galleries by a date frame?Photographers are able to search the projects according a certain date frame. Currently you can search projects from the Last 3 months or according to a specific year. This can be done in the Project tab. Searching Galleries by Date Click on the Client Galleries tab from the main dashboard. Select By Date: All to begin organizing. Select one of the sorting options from the drop down list.

How can I send photos from the Workflow tab?A photographer is able to send any client a zip file of any of the photos from the gallery. This feature is available via the Workflow tab of the gallery. The email sent to a client will include a direct link to zip file, readily available to download to their computer. This client is not required to access the gallery in order to download the file. Workflow Tab You can send a zip file via the Send/Download Photos, Client Likes, Shared by Email/Social Media, Client Downloads or Client Selection.

How can I sort photos in the gallery by date, filename or random?Through the Photo Tab in each project, you can adjust the order of the images. Changing images sequence is done through sorting the images by filename, date (according to the EXIF camera data), random, and as well as manually selecting photos and dragging them to the desired location. By default, images are sorted by date during the initial upload. If multiple cameras are used, it’s important to sync the time on all cameras before starting the session.

How do I add the autoplay slideshow to the galleries? (with music)Gallery Slideshow When viewing photos in the gallery, the client can click on an individual photo to view it in slideshow lightbox mode. The autoplay feature is automatically integrated into all your galleries and the client can click on the Autoplay button in the top left-hand corner of the lightbox to begin autoplay. Slideshow Music You can also add mp3 files to the slideshow. The music file will need to be uploaded in each individual gallery.

How do I change the gallery cover font and background color?From the project’s Name and Cover tab, you can customize your gallery covers by changing the font and the background color. Click on Color Sets to choose one of our default color combinations. You can also change the font colors of all covers, as well as the background color of covers with a solid background. After you select a color from one of our color sets, the Background or Text option will appear.

How do I delete all hidden photos?Your main client is able to hide photos from their gallery. You can choose to delete the hidden photos if you desire. The process can be done by filtering the hidden photos and selecting all to delete. In the Photos tab of the project, filter the photos to only show the Client Hidden. Select at least one photo and then click Select All. Click Delete and confirm that you would like to delete the photos.

How do I disable the firewall and anti-virus to allow connectivity for the Pic-time Uploader App?When downloading and installing the Pic-time Uploader App the photographer’s computer system may not recognize the connection from the app. A prompt from their computer may notify them to adjust their antivirus or firewall settings. Anti-virus You can either disable the anti-virus connection or adjust our anti-virus connection to allow Pic-Time to access your computer. How do I integrate SmartSlides slideshows to Pic-Time?Each photographer is able to embed their SmartSlides slideshows to their Pic-Time galleries. URLs with custom domain via SmartSlides are supported by Pic-Time. Also, the client can download their video from the gallery. Adding Video Select the Photo tab in your gallery. Click Add Scene. You will need to create a new scene which will contain the video. Modify scene name and click to add video content to the scene.

How do I manage download permissions?Pic-Time interface offers 4 different types of users: Main Client, Photographer Invited, Guest, and Client Invited. The download permissions for the users can be adjusted for each gallery. The photographer is also able to adjust web-size and high-res availability for each gallery. Download Pin There is no download pin required when downloading photos from the gallery. Instead, the photographer can control the download privileges for each user type. This option gives more control to the photographer over who can download the images from the gallery.

How do I manage gallery access codes?Creating Access Codes for your gallery users can provide a level of security to your gallery. How do I request a client selection?The client selection tool can be used by the photographer to request a number of images for various purposes (album design, prints etc.). This tool can be found in the Workflow tab. It is a feature that is included in the Professional, Advanced and Business Plan. How do I set a focal point on the cover photo?Pic-Time offers a focal point for all cover photos in the gallery. Identifying the focal point in the settings allows a better cropping display for the cover photo. This will also affect the crop the email cover photo banners & portfolio page gallery thumbnails. How do I use the Pre-Registration/Request Access gallery feature?When set-up by the photographer, gallery visitors can pre-register or request access to the gallery. The emails can be approved or rejected by the photographer and/or the main client (this is defined by the photographer), or approved automatically. Pre-registration Link functions when the gallery is set to Offline. This is useful at large events when a gallery is created prior to the event. The pre-registration link can be shared with future gallery guests.

How is the New Navigation Bar organized?The main photographer dashboard has a new, reorganized tab design on the left side. The new navigation panel now consists of 3 sections: Client Galleries, Art Galleries, Sales and Automation & Settings. Client Galleries: This tab has all of your projects in one section. Here you can search/filter, delete and start editing your projects. Art Galleries: This tab has all of your art galleries in one section.

How should I use or disable the drag and drop uploader?The drag & drop upload allows a photographer to drag the images from the folder on their computer into the Pic-Time browser. This creates a more convenient and faster way of uploading the images into the the gallery. User Login: Access, Password Creation & ManagementPic-Time has created an innovative gallery system that allows each gallery visitor to have their own secure customer account. Each account tier comes with certain privileges, including the download permissions defined by the photographer. What is the image optimizer on the uploader app?Pic-Time offers an image optimizer built right into the Uploader app to save you time from using programs such as JPEGmini. This helps increase upload and download speeds due to the optimizer repackaging the image file to a smaller file size. This is similar to programs like JPEGmini or quality export settings in photo programs, which simply packages the file in a better way and removes unneeded data to save space.

Which color profile is supported by Pic-Time?When it comes to picking a color profile, Pic-Time suggest uploading photos with an sRGB profile. sRGB is the currently recommended color profile for screen viewing and commercial printing. Using this profile as the delivery profile is safest when it comes to your clients getting the same colors you intended on screen and in print. Which dynamic text tokens are available?Pic-Time allows a series of dynamic text tokens to be used throughout the site. Dynamic text tokens can be used to populate previously saved information from your account. For example, you can use the token {username} in your email templates.
