How can I add a hold period before an order is sent to production?
Before an order is sent to production, you can add a hold period so you are able to review the order and make adjustments as needed. The hold period allows you to make sure that the crop and selections of the photos are correct. You can adjust the settings so certain products in the store do not require to be held, such as image downloads. If an order consists of products that are on hold and products that are set to skip the hold, the whole order will be held until approved by the photographer or until the holding day period has been reached.
Click Settings from the main dashboard.
Under the Store Settings tab select the number of days you would like to hold the order before it goes to production. We recommend you give yourself a sufficient amount of days to be able to review the orders before it is sent to production.
To skip the hold period for specific products, checkmark Skip for specific products and click Select Products.
Select the product and click Apply.
Once an order is placed by your client, it will be available for review under Sales & Automation > Orders.
Select the order you would like to review.
Click the pencil icon if to edit the order.
Once you are ready to approve the order and send it to production click Approve.
